Pebingyaung Pagoda (1,653)

This small pagoda is essentially a Sinhalese type with a large bell-shaped dome surmounted by a square-based relic chamber which, in its turn, is crowned by a conical stupa. The dome rests on very low terraces, the whole structure assuming a form simpler than the Sapada. It may be ascribed to the 12th  century A D.
